Case Study 2 Activity

For the three case studies, I have:

  • Given a brief background of your teaching context below
  • Presented a thorough evaluation of the issue, drawing on (e.g.) my own experience, feedback from students, colleagues’ perspectives, and ideas from the literature.
  • Identified implications and specific actions arising from the evaluation.
  • Committed to next steps through e.g. a timed action plan 14 weeks on Padlet

Intro and Background:

Teaching on Diploma in Professional Studies (both year 2 and Year 3) across multiple areas of design, gives many opportunities to enhance the careers and employability. Challenges are year 3 are working internationally in different time zones and there are around 100 students across the below diverse areas of design:

Evaluation

Knowing and meeting the needs of Diverse learners V1,V3

Planning and teaching for effective learning via teams globally

Assessing learning and exchanging feedback in group sessions 121s and on teams remotely if they’re working internationally in another time zone.

Moving Forward

I intend to plan for and support student learning through appropriate approaches and environments.
